The 2008 Engelhorn was held in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains in "The town that has it all," Branson Missouri, in the Tri-Lakes area. The Ozarks are beautiful with springs, caves, old mills, lakes, and more. The mountains are covered with Oak, Hickory, Yellow Pine, Sassafras, Sycamore, Dogwood, and Redbud. 

Gary and Esther were our able hosts, aided by Ann and Blu. They did a superb job, as evidenced by the smiling faces of every family member. A quick count showed over 50 family members attended! There were several group outings organized: The Presleys Family Jamboree, The Baldnobbers show, The Sheppard of the Hills, and a river boat ride. Other groups visited Silver Dollar City, the Titanic Museum, and The Pet Show.

Gary and Esther own two businesses that did a bang-up job... Anniblu Farms supplied us Certified Angus Beef for two meals - one dinner of Bratwurst and one of sliced beef. Both meals were exceptional. Mr C's Caps had beautiful embroidered shirts for everyone. (If you need embroidered or silk screened hats or t-shirts - consider this Englehorn family owned business [Ed.])
